2019 Soul Train Awards: My Favorite Red Carpet Fashions

This past weekend, the 2019 Soul Train Awards made history by airing live for the first time. Similar to any other award show, celebrities from all around came dressed down for the star-studded occasion. Out of all the celebrities to grace the red carpet, there were a couple of celebs that stood out the most and shut things down.

1. HER

Rocking a kimono look, HER wore a pair of platform red velvet heels and a pair round orange sunglasses.

2. Yolanda Adams

The Lady of Soul recipient, Yolanda Adams wore a blue and purple sequined dress paired with blue booties.

3. LeToya Luckett

LeToya Luckett graced the carpet with a black lace jumpsuit and blazer with her signature pixie cut.

4. Khadeen and Devale Ellis

The beautiful YouTube couple and hosts of the Dead Ass Podcast stuck to the theme with purple and black matching fits.

5. MJ Rodriguez

The Pose star wore a pink and red fluffy dress with black leather gloves and boots.

6. Queen Naija

For her second time at the Soul Train Awards, Queen Naija walked the carpet with a beautiful, red, satin, deep cut, dress paired with a silver clutch.

7. Tiana Major9

The 'Collide' singer wore a turquoise striped pantsuit with a voluminous braided bun.

8. Skai Jackson

The young actress and YouTube star wore a pink and black dress with a slicked-back ponytail.

9. JoJo

Making a return to the limelight, JoJo wore a black and white blocked blazer with some bloody red bottoms with a bow.

10. Raven Goodwin

Miss Raven Goodwin graced the carpet in a shimmery dress and a braided updo.

11. Ari Lennox

Ari slayed in this velvet emerald cutout dress paired with a gold Dolce & Gabbana and some gold heels.
